Correct Way to Perform Ablution (Wudu) in Islam

Ablution (Wudu) is a fundamental act of purification in Islam, required before performing Salah (prayer) and other acts of worship. The Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) provides the correct method of performing Wudu, ensuring both spiritual and physical cleanliness.

In this guide, we will explore the step-by-step Sunnah method of performing Wudu, its significance, and common mistakes to avoid. We have also included a detailed YouTube video demonstrating the process according to authentic Hadith.

Importance of Wudu in Islam

Wudu is not just about physical cleanliness but also about spiritual purification. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“When a Muslim or a believer washes his face in Wudu, every sin he committed with his eyes is washed away. When he washes his hands, every sin they committed is washed away, and when he washes his feet, every sin they walked towards is washed away.” (Sahih Muslim)

Thus, Wudu serves as a means of attaining purity and preparing oneself to stand before Allah in prayer.
